Conserved in 2015-2016 with Support from the Stockman Family Foundation
Conservation Treatment: Some areas of the painting were surface cleaned with erasers. Masking tapes were removed. The fragmented bottom left corner was aligned and attached with Japanese paper and wheat starch. The board was mended and reinforced with Japanese paper and wheat starch. The bottom left corner was lightly in-painted to blend the broken corner into the design and make it less distracting.
