Rouen Cathedral, 1800s - 1900s
Watercolor on Paper
Conserved in 2011 with funds from the Art Angels
Conservation Treatment: The tapes and paper fibers were removed and adhesive residues reduced. The paper was mended and reinforced with Japanese paper and wheat starch paste. The watercolor was humidified and flattened. The bottom right corner was very minimally inpainted with watercolor to blend the damage in to the design.
