Current Condition of Artwork:

On verso, there are two pressure sensitive tape hinges along the side and paper tape at the top. Adhesive residue with attachments. Severe skinning in upper right of verso. Random minor accretions. Minor delamination along edges of support. Shiny coating on red border with minor cleavage. Minor losses and cracking to red border. Minor surface grime.

Conservation Treatment Proposed:

  • Consolidate flaking paint.
  • Reduce pressure sensitive tapes and adhesive mechanically.
