Current Condition of Artwork:

Linen tape hinges on the top edge of verso. Adhesive residue with hinges. Losses from wormholes with minor wormholes throughout. Moderate losses throughout with support losses. Random minor accretions. Abrasions/skinning along edges of support. Minor surface grime. Minor undulations overall. Stains in upper right corner and lower left edge. Tiny creases throughout. Moderate cracking throughout with support losses. Minor flaking, especially in light blue. Stains in upper right corner.

Conservation Treatment Proposed:

  • Consolidate flaking paint.
  • Fill/tone wormhole losses (optional).
  • Reduce linen tape attachments (optional).
