Renew, 2015

Linocut

This art piece represents our idea of renewable energy paving the way to a brighter and cleaner future in America for generations to come. Renewable energy will last almost indefinitely and it does not hurt the planet, unlike nonrenewable energy sources such as coal and oil which are contributing to climate change. We would like to see the federal government help set a national standard for renewable energy instead of individual states setting their own individual standards or even not having any standard for renewable energy at all. Nonrenewable energy is ruining our planet and we would like to see its use being reduced so that future generations will have a better life.
